Description

The Savannah Oasis is a trendy space in an up-and-coming historic Savannah neighborhood. Come enjoy this clean, quiet space and enjoy amenities like fresh towels and linens, WiFi, free on-street parking, convenient self check-in, and so much more!

The Savannah Oasis features historic charm, modern decor, and beautiful accents. The home was originally built in 1920, and has been recently restored. Enjoy access to 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen stocked with basic cookware, appliances, and a Keurig. The home is equipped with 3 Roku Smart TVs and a sleeper sofa in the living room for an additional guest. There's a spacious den right off the kitchen, and a private backyard space convenient for pets or eating at the picnic table. The home has 2.5 bathrooms as well!

You're within walking distance to many Savannah staples, including The Starland Yard, Big Bon Bodega, Two Tides Brewery, and The Vault. It's a quick 10 minute Uber ride to River Street and about a 25 minute drive to Tybee Island!

Each bedroom has an electronic keypad for additional privacy. When you arrive, please make yourselves at home and feel free to adjust the thermostat to your liking.

Parking:

There is free, on-street parking available. This is very common in Savannah - if you decide to stay downtown, you will have a very hard time finding off-street parking. There is usually ample parking available, but it is first come, first served and there are no reserved spaces. We cannot guarantee parking spaces, or enough space for trailers, U-Hauls, boats, etc. Please be advised of weekly street cleaning - there are signs that indicate which day of the week the street cleaning is, and if you happen to stay during street cleaning, you can just park on the opposite side of the street.

Any unapproved late checkouts may result in additional fees.

This listing is a great fit for large groups such as wedding/bachelorette parties, or folks looking to come to Savannah to have a great time and experience the city as locally and authentically as possible! If a residential neighborhood filled with art students and families of folks who look differently than you will make you uncomfortable, then I’d recommend a hotel. If things like dust on blinds, leaves on the patio, or scuffs on the stairs are what will determine whether or not you enjoy your stay, I’d also recommend a hotel. It just depends on what you’re looking for as a visitor, and if you’re unsure about what may be the most suitable for you and your needs, I’m happy to chat with you at any point to help you determine that!

Neighborhood Overview:
Within walking distance to many iconic Savannah destinations, including Forsyth Park (15 minute walk/4 minute drive), Bull Street Taco (4-6 minute walk), Foxy Loxy, Blue Door Cafe, Woof Gang Bakery, Henny Penny Cafe, Big Bon Bodega, The Sentient Bean, Starland Yard and The Vault

Getting Around:
In this artsy neighborhood dreamed up in the late 1990s by two Savannah College of Art and Design students, creativity fuels the community. Fun and funky shops, galleries and studios now thrive in once-rundown buildings. Shop for vintage clothing, vinyl records and original art, and treat your taste buds in a number of quaint and quirky cafes.

Other Things To Note:

This Airbnb is pet friendly. There is a $50 pet fee if you decide to bring your pet along. Pets must not be destructive or disruptive to other guests.

Alcohol: - Downtown Savannah has an open container policy (plastic only), which means you can walk around and drink downtown (limited to north of Park St) - Bars are concentrated on West Congress St.

I also would like to mention from previous experiences that my house is in a diverse neighborhood of a diverse city and my guests as well as neighbors reflect that. It's one of my favorite parts of hosting! If you are uncomfortable with others who may be of different skin color or beliefs as you, I would not recommend my home.
